This panel presentation will provide pre-service teachers (both LGBT+ and non-LGBT+) with opportunities to understand the importance and ways to address gender and sexuality in the curriculum. Educators will address the contexts of navigating coming out, finding support in their schools and communities, addressing no-promo homo laws in Arizona, and finding ways to engage gender, gender identity, and sexuality in the curriculum. Resources will be provided to all attendees.
